sv meme again!
All right, I want to finish the SV meme before the finale starts, so I'm going to do two of the alt ones per day so I can get there. Btw, I am really enjoying s9! Saw through 'Roulette', 'Crossfire', and 'Kandor' today. For those of you follow me on Twitter, I apologize for spamming you! I liked Ollie in Kandor. Why can't Clark & Oliver's relationship always be like that? Though it did help reignite my Clark/Ollie love/muses. ;)

Speaking of Clark/Ollie, I'm glad I have them. Whenever there's drama, they're my happy place. (And I'd avoid Twitter for those of you who want to stay in a good mood). My newest plan is to ignore the haters. They can be as nasty as they want, but really, all it shows is how desperate they've become. Their words, while sad and disgusting, can't and won't change the show. It won't change what's happened and what will continue to happen. I've come to a calm happy place when dealing with fandom and I won't let them pull me out of it. It's what led to me leaving the first time, and I'm not going anywhere anymore. I like that I can say this with a smile on my face (even though you can't see me, just trust me when I say I'm smiling).

Now that I've had my little rant, I'm going on with the meme!

favorite performance/scene of a character getting possessed

It has to be Martha being possessed by Dawn in 'Spirit' (sorry, couldn't find a picture/GIF). Everyone did really well while they were supposed to be possessed, from Lois to Chloe and of course, Clark ('crown's mine, bitch'! That will never get old). But Martha dancing in the kitchen? Killed me! Then when she accused Lois and Clark of being together ... I was dying. Their expressions were so priceless. :D

favorite El/Kryptonian other than Clark

While I feel that Kara was badly used in s7, I liked her in 'Bloodline', and a handful of times in s7 too. I wish they had focused on her relationship with Clark, instead of throwing her into a love triangle. She could've given him information on Krypton and whatnot. But Laura was a good casting, and I am excited to see her back in s10.

Roulette...that had an awesome Chlollie scene ;D. In Kandor, I love when Oliver says something like, "For Christmas, I'm getting you a sense of humor" to Clark.

*nods* You should always stay in your happy place cuz it makes you...you know, happy. ;) Chlollie's my ignorant, blissful, happy place...Ollie's just everyone's happy place, isn't he?...

*off to watch the Roulette scene*

It was one of the few scenes I enjoyed. The rest made me kinda go "???"

I really liked Clark & Ollie's relationship in 'Kandor'. Oliver was being a good friend to Clark and it's rare to see that nowadays. And yes, that scene cracked me up. as well as Chloe & Clark's talk. Clark whining about having to go with Oliver was priceless!

Yes, we can ignore the hate in our own happy worlds! Clark's actually my happy place (and a lot of the time, Lois). But Ollie works too. I have a love/hate relationship with him right now. ;)

*off to watch the Roulette scene*
Hee! Have fun! If you watch fanvids, I can rec a few to you!

Love the icon btw. I keep staring at it and losing my train of thought.

Yay for Kara! :D I have a lot of love for her character, and she's one of the bright spots in S7 for me, and she's definitely awesome in "Bloodline". So glad they're getting her back this final season!

She was well cast, that was for sure. That arc has a lot of potential, but AlMiles obsession with love triangles ruined it.

and she's definitely awesome in "Bloodline". So glad they're getting her back this final season!
Yup, I liked Bloodline!Kara a lot. The Clark & Kara cousin bond makes me happy, because I want Clark to have some family. I can't wait to see what they do with her in s10.

I'm glad you have Clollie as a safe place and I'm happy you're enjoying season 9 so far. :) I agree, you should never let crazy people fangirls drive you away from fandom or a show/couple that you like. :) I'm sorry you felt that you had to leave before, because I know how much you were enjoying fandom before. Hopefully things are easier for you now.

As far as 'haters' go, I certainly hope you don't think I'm one because I'm less than thrilled with some of the turns the show has taken. I am a longtime fan and I will stick with it, because at the end of the day I am invested in the characters and I want to see the final show so I have some closure. Of course, I'll always prefer and hang onto my 'safe place' Brois, and am happy that it's off limits for bashing for the most part. ;)

I'm sure you've seen me vent a bit about twitter lately, and honestly I keep asking myself why I go there at all. I know (and I know you know from our experiences) that there are a lot of really nasty Chloe fans out there that do and say awful things. But I think what has been upsetting me more lately is how a lot of the fans on the other side of the fence behave as well. I saw last night that someone who is a very big Clois fan (and I believe on both of our lists) went to that 'Doomed Ships' fic thing and saw that the first commenter was a Chlarker and they basically were saying they were going to stick with their Chlark because the show screwed it. Well anyways, this Cloiser took that comment (which let's face it, entirely was welcome at a place for DOOMED SHIPS) but then went to twitter and started tweeting about 'bitter Chlarkers whining about their ship.' This of course spawned more tweets talking about how they should 'let it go' and all the subsequent "Chlollie is awful and blah blah blah." Now you know I don't care about Chlollie or Chlark or anything, and I'm not defending how some of those fans behave, but really, why do some Cloisers feel the need to seeek out the Chlark posts in places where they are SUPPOSED to talk about the ship, and then bash them for doing so? The same happened when people wondered where Lex was in the two resprospective trailers. It's like "Lex is the past, Clois is the future. Let it go." I guess I'm confused because I feel like Cloisers will be getting a good season with lots of stuff to be happy about and yet they still seem to want to kick and attack anyone who isn't fully onboard with their ship or everything the show is doing. I've even seen diehard Cloisers who tweet non-stop about Clois turn around and go "I may not even watch the show" whenever a Chloe or Chlollie spoiler comes out. Seriously. I guess for me fandom should be 'welcome' for anyone who likes anything, but to many people that just doesn't cut it. If it's not 'canon' or isn't currently on the show (or what they personally want or think is right) then it's OMG SHUT UP AND LEAVE FANDOM FOREVER!

Yesterday it reached a boiling point for me when people started out and out attacking Jon Hamm because the very rumor of him possibly wearing the cape after Tom Welling . I don't care if Jon Hamm is supes or not, but come on people. The bashing of ACTORS? Seriously. It wasn't about them thinking he's not right for Superman (I understand that) it was those who felt the need to bash his age (he is a year older than Rosenbaum, btw) and compare him to Betty White and all of that. I feel sorry for ANYONE who is cast for the next Superman movie because the camp of a lot of Cloisers already have their knives sharpened. That's what makes me want to run away from twitter screaming.

Anyways, sorry to dump that here in your 'happy place' **HUGS** Just telling you my perspective on twitter as someone who loves Lois but isn't a Clois fan. (It's a CRAZY place to be as a fan. Eeep!) :p

Thank you! I was pleasantly surprised with s9. TBH, I felt lost when I hated Oliver and was frustrated with shipping Clark/Ollie. I am happy I got over that, because as silly as it sounds, shipping them is a big part of who I am online, you know? To be fair, I was also worried about law school and didn't think I'd have time for fandom. But I am happy to be back, even if the crazies are still there. And yes, thinks are much better for me, thank you. &hearts

As far as 'haters' go, I certainly hope you don't think I'm one because I'm less than thrilled with some of the turns the show has taken. Oh, no, not you. I'm referring to the real psychos ... you know who I'm talking about. But I'm glad that you have your safe place. Brois & Collie go so well together. y/y?

I saw last night that someone who is a very big Clois fan (and I believe on both of our lists) went to that 'Doomed Ships' fic thing and saw that the first commenter was a Chlarker and they basically were saying they were going to stick with their Chlark because the show screwed it. Well anyways, this Cloiser took that comment (which let's face it, entirely was welcome at a place for DOOMED SHIPS) but then went to twitter and started tweeting about 'bitter Chlarkers whining about their ship.'
Oh yes, I don't like it when my side stoops to their level. Though I do know what comment she's taking about. I have a lot of doomed ships myself (you probably saw me pimp it), and I am so careful about when I scroll down to move to get to another page. But they do have a right to vent and it doesn't help any to be like them. (Though I have to say, I hate when Chlarkers compare Clois & Chlark, and say stuff like Clois is a poor imitation of Chlark, which is what the commenter was saying. It's a pet peeve. What can I say? I never claimed to be perfect).

I guess I'm confused because I feel like Cloisers will be getting a good season with lots of stuff to be happy about and yet they still seem to want to kick and attack anyone who isn't fully onboard with their ship or everything the show is doing.
Which is why I'm all about 'letting go' these days. I mean, I know I'm going to get what I want (for the most part) from this show and I will probably be satisfied at the end of it all. The other Cloisers should just let it go and stop stressing so much. It'll make them a lot happier in the long run.

Yeah, I wish fandom was more open, but unfortunately, the majority doesn't think that way. It's a shame, because fandom should be fun, and a lot of the time (esp SV), it's not.

Yesterday it reached a boiling point for me when people started out and out attacking Jon Hamm because the very rumor of him possibly wearing the cape after Tom Welling . I don't care if Jon Hamm is supes or not, but come on people. The bashing of ACTORS? Seriously
Oh yes, I saw that. I hate bashing of actors, which is what prompted my little rant. That nutjob Tobi is on twitter and saying nasty things about Erica again. I might've mentioned that I don't think Jon Hamm is right for Superman, but only because he's not who I imagine as Supes. He has more of a Batman look about him. But insulting his age? He doesn't look old, and even if he did, who are they to say? While I would love for Welling to be apart of the Superman movies, nobody even knows if he wants to! After all, he's spent 10 years of his life as Clark Kent. Maybe he wants to move on! Plus, I trust Nolan and I am sure he will make the right decision.

Anyways, sorry to dump that here in your 'happy place' **HUGS** Just telling you my perspective on twitter as someone who loves Lois but isn't a Clois fan.
No need to apologize! You're always fun to exchange comments with. Feel free to rant here anytime. *hugs* And yes, Twitter is crazy for sure. It can be fun, but you have to be mentally prepared.
