Worst Movie

tobywolf13 wanted me to blog about the worst movie I've ever seen. I'm going to do both a Bollywood movie and a Hollywood one.

The worst Bollywood movie I saw had to be Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage. It was just a horrible Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai rip off. It even had Hrithik and Amisha Patel (who I cannot STAND) in it. I saw it for my birthday (I know, some birthday) with my friends and we were so loud that some annoying ladies complained and somebody had to come and tell us to quiet down. What can I say? We kept making fun of it.

It was about Rohit, played by Hrithik and Sapna, played by Amisha. She was rich, he was poor and she is in a conservative household. Blah, blah, blah. It's KHNH stretched out in 3 hours. Her dad is working with the mafia or some bullshit like that and he wants to get her engaged to the son of a family friend. But alas, she loves Rohit! He won't accept the engagement either, even going as far to sing at the engagement party.

They try to scare him away, they lock her in her room and beat him to a pulp. She dramatically takes a bottle of pills, thinking her precious Rohit is dead.

Her brother, who of course wants to be just like his dad, she and a female character I can't remember are in the car, going somewhere. No, she's not dead yet. Either way, someone stops in front of the car and LOOK, it's ROHIT! HE'S ALIIIVE!

He takes on the goons and the brother 'cause he's Hrithik and can do anything. They take Sapna to the hospital and everyone lives happily ever after.

The acting was mediocre, Amisha was annoying as always, the plot was lame and songs were mediocre. What's not to hate?

Now, the worst Hollywood movie I have seen has to be "Shall We Dance".

It was so awful! The plot? John Clark (Richard Gere) has a great family (don't they always?) and a happy life but feels something is missing. Upon seeing a mysterious woman dancing in a studio on his commute home every night, he signs up for dance lessons. He turns out to be awful and that woman is not even his teacher. When he finally meets her, she could care less.

He starts to really like dancing and he even helps J.Lo's character, Paulina, rediscover her own love for the dance. Of course he keeps his new hobby a secret and his wife begins to get suspicious.

No worries ... there is a happy ending for all.

It's quite silly and I don't even remember why I rented this movie. i watched it with a few friends and we kept skipping scenes because they were so dull. J-Lo can't act and this move was extremely predictable.

Basically, it sucked.

I don't know if it's the worst one I saw but I can't remember any movie I hated more at this point.
