SV 30 Day Meme!
All right, I'm way behind on this meme, I know. So I'm posting Days 24-29 in this post. :)

Day 24- Favorite mythos moment

Definitely Clark flying! That was really exciting and made 'Crusade', which I was already enjoying, even more win! I really hope that we get to see Clark fly again in s10. I don't want him to be taught by anyone (especially Kara, because Superman being taught to fly by Supergirl feels wrong). I also would like to see a Clois flying scene, but I'm taking it one step at a time. ;)

Day 25- Something you think Smallville did better than comics canon

I have to say, I'm no comics expert, so I may be wrong on this one. But with the exception of 'Wrath', the Lois & Lana relationship was good in the show. I mean, Lana was the first one to call Clois, wasn't she? With her whole "the best ones always start out that way" at the end of 'Gone'. I liked that Lana trusted Lois enough to ask her for advice. I really don't trust the writers to bring back Lana without having Clana angst, but hopefully now that Tom is a producer, he can steer them away from that and instead, have closure, with some Cloisana scenes or something. No triangles, just friendship, thanks!

Day 26- Scene that was the most aesthetically pleasing/prettiest

Whether it was the most aesthetically pleasing, IDK. But it was a scene that I loved. I have a thing for rain scenes, and this one was just beautiful. 'Rabid' was a tough one to go through for me, since zombies freak me the hell out. But that scene, where Clark was just holding Lois ... simply beautiful all around.

Day 27- Favorite hospital scene

The credit for the picture goes to verogeller btw.

Can you blame me for picking it though? I'm a Clois shipper through and through. That scene from 6.01 'Zod' entertained me. I like how Clark grabbed her hand, and Lois was all "WTF are you doing?" Poor Clark ... rejected. The expression he gave made me laugh, and Lois seemed to be like "okay, moving on ..." Besides, I like that Lois felt safe in the Fortress. How cool is that?

Day 28- Favorite music montage

Probably the end of 'Bride', when 'Don't Take Your Love Away From Me' by Vast played. With Lois walking away from Clark, and then later, Chloe being carried to the Fortress by Doomsday. It was all very intense and heartbreaking at the same time. I can't think of many during the earlier seasons and I'm too lazy so I just went with the one that stuck in my head.

Day 29- favorite Superman franchise actors who have guest-starred (Christopher Reeve, Helen Slater, Dean Cain etc.)

Definitely Christopher Reeve. I loved that Clark got to interact with him, and I did genuinely like his character too. It's a shame that we saw Margot Kidder but she didn't get to interact with Lois.

Oh no, you're nearly done! Though I suppose from your POV, it's oh good, I'm nearly done. Love your answers! Mine will probably be different but its hard to argue with first flight, and that scene from Rabid was stupendously beautiful. For all the complaints about Smallville getting too dark (literally) in recent seasons, a complaint born out by all the colour correction I need to do on screencaps, when they get it right now, they get it better than they ever did. Glen Winters is an amazing DP.

Hee! I know, I'm doing all the alternate ones too, but I think this is the longest stretch I've gone without posting the 30 Day meme so it's more like "thank god I've caught up!"

Can't wait to see what you've chosen! I like that everyone has different answers. It really helps reflect on the show and remember things that we may have forgotten.

*nods* I have complained about SV and the darkness, but I think they're definitely headed in the right direction these days. Hopefully s10 will be just as epic! :)
