DW codes

LJ is under a lot of attacks lately and I know they're working on it but I also see that a lot of people are getting DW accounts just in case. If anyone needs an invite code, let me know. I haven't really used the ones I have so I should have about 10 or so.

Just leave a comment here (or PM me if you don't want to share your e-mail address) if you want one! :)

For those of you who have accounts there already, I'm svgurl at DW as well so feel free to friend! Or let me know your username and I'll find you. :D

Yeah I myself just created a DW account because this is getting kinda crazy. :/ It's worse because LJ truly has no control over it.

I created an account a while ago when DW first opened, just for the heck of it, and now that LJ is going crazy, I'm glad I have it.

Yup. That's why I am worried. They're politically motivated and considering that LJ is owned by a Russian company, it's a bit worrisome.

*sigh* I hate that this is happening a lot of people have been leaving LJ and this isn't helping the people who decided to stay and stick it out. I hope things return to normal. I just don't have time to start a new blog :(

I don't think that anyone is leaving LJ permanently yet. We're all staying and sticking it out. If we did leave, we would've deleted our journals and be done with it. That's not the case. It's a better safe than sorry mentality that is going on. The fact is that LJ is being attacked constantly and so far they aren't able to stop the hackers. Should the site go down permanently (I really hope it doesn't come to this but you never know), it would be nice to know that we can find our flist elsewhere.
